Council Member, Place 4 - Bob Clark

Bob Clark

City Council
Title: Place Four Council Member

“I want to keep Wimberley the beautiful and charming place that it is.  That’s why completing the update of the City’s Comprehensive Plan is one of my highest priorities.  This will   guide our work to manage growth, water, transportation, and affordable housing.  Protecting our water resources is my greatest long term concern.  We will need to work with regional stakeholders to require rainwater collection systems in commercial and residential construction, prevent wastewater pollution, and build wastewater treatment systems that reuse treated water.”

Bob served on the Planning and Zoning Commission since January 2023 until his election in May, 2024.  He is also an associate member of St. Vincent de Paul Society in Wimberley which serves those in Wimberley needing assistance with food, rent/mortgage, gas, medical bills, prescriptions, utilities, and disaster assistance.

He owned and managed a small business in the commercial food service equipment industry for 30 years in Wisconsin.  Bob and his wife, Theresa, knew they wanted to make Wimberley home after frequent visits here to visit Theresa’s parents since the 1990’s.  Bob and Theresa have three adult children and three grandchildren.
