Bonnie Tull, Presenter: “Enhancing Natural Habitat for Wildlife, Especially for Attracting Birds”
I’m a fifth-generation native Texan and graduate of UT but lived 30 years in various places all over the world as a Navy wife before coming home in 2001. My husband and I became Master Naturalists in the Cougars’ class of 2005. Growing up in the hills just outside of Austin, I acquired a knowledge and interest in Nature by osmosis. When we lived in Panama amongst amazing tropical birds 40 years ago, birding became an abiding hobby. Gradually, I focused my interest in creating a home habitat where I could attract better viewing opportunities for birds no matter where we lived. This presentation attempts to illustrate how anyone can do simple things to enhance natural habitat for wildlife and especially for attracting birds.
